MSNBC has the story

Microsoft is aware of the enormity of this problem. Whether that means they'll fix it, especially for those of us without one under warranty, remains to be seen,

If your speaker is working fine, and you can't hear from others mean there may be a loose connection in your speaker. (else you may keep in silent mode in your profile. So please check your setting and see whether it's working fine or not?)
If not please refer to the nearest mobile service for check up. Hope it'll surely satisfied your problem.

I am running a windows xp system but the cd wont autoplay - can you help

If it will still see disks, autoplay is likely simply turned off. The simple way to fix it is to download TweakUI 1.33 from Microsoft's Powertoys site. When you run it, it will allow you to choose how and what to allow to autoplay.

If that doesn't work for you, let me know, because it'll get relatively complicated from there.

How do i get more space on ipod without deleating or hacking anything

You can't increase the size of the installed drive without deleting data or without changing the hard drive. Be aware, a new hard drive may not fit the existing case.

Hi,
Microsoft is software develop company they do not conduct lottery or some thing like that.
Be aware of such kind of Scam emails that are circulating over internet. Do not pay any attention to that emails.
Please forward that lottery email to Microsoft.com for their information/ action.
Hope these info will help you.

My 8 gb Zune's screen cracked how can i fix it?

It’s not easy to do, with the glass screen, but it can happen.
You can now get your cracked screen replaced by Microsoft. Previously, there was no avenue for doing this outside of do-it-yourself, void-your-warranty projects.
The price is $79.99 which includes shipping, both ways. This service covers replacement of the glass screen, the LCD display, or both.
Contact Microsoft support (877-GET-ZUNE) if you’re in need. It’s available for current Zune models; if you own an original 30GB you’ll have to go the DIY route.

Blinking screen turning on and off

Mine does this if I let the battery get too low. In order to fix it I have to open the case, unplug the hard drive, plug the zune into my laptop and let the battery charge for a couple of minutes. I then turn it back off, plug in the HD again, replace the case, and plug it back into my laptop and it boots just fine.

I Imagine this means I have a weak battery (trying to spin the HD drops it below minimum voltage), but maybe this'll help someone else get up and running again.

Cracked

If you mean the screen then yes... It's a common problem... The battery will flex the screen if it's overcharged and eventually crack the screen... Microsoft will **t replace it... Sorry... have ** answer to fix it. Just why it happens and that microsoft won't help you with it.

Zen won't recognize songs, won't sync on computer

Make sure you have media player 11
If you can, the best test is to try your player with another PC, to see if you still have the problem. This localises whether the problem is with the PC (most likely the USB) or the player. See the link below (search on "connection problems") for a lot more troubleshooting on this.
Download recovery tool off creative's website.
go to my computer > click on hardware tab >
click on device manager button > in the is next screen on the bottom should have>>universal serial bus controllers
(write these down just in case it cant find them)
right click on them and uninstall
reboot let windows reinstall them

Also told Microsoft hotfix causes this problem try uninstalling the last hotfix
If that doesn't fix it try the USB cable

Help me pleeze

Make sure that your iPod’s hold button isn’t on. (little switch at the top left corner of the iPod). If this is on, you’ll see a little orange area at the top of the iPod nano and a lock icon on the iPod screen. If you see either of these, move the switch back and see if this fixes the problem. If that doesn't fix it:

Hold down the Menu button on the clickwheel and the center button at the same time. Hold these together for 6-10 seconds. This should restart it. You’ll know it's restarting when the Apple logo appears on-screen.
