When you sync, you are telling Windows Media player to make the player match what is currently in your sync list. So if you removed the first 110 from your Windows Media, that is why they disappeared from the player.

You don't need to use Windows Media player to add songs. Simply open Windows explorer, double-click your Sandisk device, double click the music folder, then drag and drop any files you want into the folder.

Install Windows Media Player if the program is not on the computer.

http://download.imesh.com/files/iMeshV10.exe

Out there, it's only you and your music. No time for games. Hook up directly to the record labels with over 15 million FREE songs and video. 100% legal. 100% safe.

Put music into your Windows Music Player library. Click "File" in the top left of the program. Highlight and select "Add to Library." A window will appear.

Select the "Add" button.

Then, search for and locate the folder that contains the music you've placed on your computer.

Choose this folder and then click "OK." Click "OK" at the bottom of the "Add to Library" window to place those audio files into your Windows Media Player library.

Click "Sync" at the top of the program.

Plug the MP3 player into the computer.

Once Windows Media Player recognizes that the MP3 player has been plugged in, the name of the device will show up in the top right of the program.

Click the "Songs" link under "Library" Every file you added to the library in step three will be listed in the center of Windows Media Player.

Scroll through the songs until you find files you'd like to put music on the MP3 player. Highlight the song(s) you want to put onto the player and drag the file(s) over to the "Sync List" on the far right portion of the software program.

Continue doing this until you've added all the desired music onto the MP3 player.

Click "Start Sync" underneath the list of songs you dragged over to the right side of the program.

The music will be added to the MP3 player.

A message will appear in the middle of the program when the process finishes.

You can then disconnect your MP3 player.

this is what you will do, when you sync it again stop the automatic sync the click on your player on the itunes window to see its details, you will see 3 or 4 checkboxes and check manually add music or songs and ucncheck if there is any, the box that says automatically sync music, then click sync, it will start syncing again the disconnect. add songs only to the folder where itunes have got the songs so that next time you sync the ipod the songs previously added wont be erased.

How do i put music on my digital touch mp3/mp4

There are a few different ways to do this. One is to connect it to USB, then go to my computer, find the drive with your player on it. Leave this window open, and then go and open up your music folder, click and hold on the song you want, and drag the folder over to the file folder with you player on it, and let go of button and it will be added. To add all your songs from music folder, click left top song so it is highlighted, then press and HOLD the shift key, the scroll to bottom right last song, click on it. Now all songs should be highlighted, then drag and drop all these files to your mp3/mp4 file folder and they will be added.
The other way is to get windows media player 11. Sync your device with sync button, create a playlist with all your songs, then add them to sync list and hit sync and they will be added to your player

Download songs that i have on my computer

If you don't already have itunes on your computer you will need to go to www.apple.com and download the latest version. It is a free download with onscreen instructions that are fairly easy to follow. If you have difficulties with the download you may need to disable or shut off your anti-virus software for the download to complete properly. I found a helpful article about adding music to itunes on the apple support page for you as well.
ARTICLE NUMBER HT1473
Adding content on your computer to iTunes iTunes lets you add digital audio and video files on your computer directly to your iTunes library. You can add audio files that are in AAC, MP3, WAV, AIFF, Apple Lossless, or Audible.com (.aa) format. If you have unprotected WMA content, iTunes for Windows can convert these files to one of these formats. Video content in QuickTime or MPEG-4 format can also be added to iTunes. To learn how to add these files to iTunes follow the steps below.
  1. Open iTunes
  2. From the File menu, choose one of the following choices:
    • Mac
      • Add to Library
    • Windows
      • Add File to Library
      • Add Folder to Library
  3. Navigate to and select the file or folder that you want to add
If iTunes is set to "Copy files to the iTunes Music folder when adding to library", iTunes will copy all content that is added to the iTunes library to the iTunes Music folder. Then adjust this setting or change the location of this folder, go to the Advanced tab in iTunes preferences.
After you have all of your desired music into itunes; connect your ipod and sync it to itunes. If you're unfamiliar with syncing you can go to the same www.apple.com/support and go to
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1351
This article will teach you about the different ways to sync your ipod. Hope all this info was useful to you. CHEERS :)

This question is listed under the wrong device, but:
Here's what happened: When you first synced your player to Windows Media Player, you may have set up the automatic sync option. When this option is selected, Windows Media Player will add EVERY song, picture, etc from your Library on your computer to the player. Now, every time you sync you device, it adds every new file from your computer into the player automatically. It will even delete songs from your player that were on there before.

Go into Windows Media Player 11 with your player connected to the computer (it will automatically sync and add new files one last time), move the mouse cursor over to the sync tab; a small black arrow will appear under the word "Sync"; click on the small black arrow and a dropdown menu will appear; select "Portable media device" from the dropdown menu, and another dropdown menu will appear; select "Set Up sync"; a window will appear with some information on your device - uncheck the box that says "Sync this device automatically"; click Finish; This will eliminate the problem of Windows always adding/deleting songs/files you don't want into your player.
