Question about Belkin (F5D7230-4) Router (587009)
Trying to secure the wireless router but not very computer literate ? what do I need to do - please make it basic.
The simplest way is to type www.routerlogin.com into your internet browser URL address bar. This will take you to your router's menu. It will ask you for a username and password. It might be set to 'admin' and 'password' as default. It is possible that you can just leave it blank.
Then you can change to whatever you like it when you're there.
To encrypt your wireless connection so that nobody can steal it, you can go to Wireless, then Security and Enable WPA or WEP and it'll prompt you to set a password. Do so and write it down somewhere safe.
Now exit the browser and your Wireless Network is protected.
Good Luck and Happy New Year

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
