One end of the cord goes into a wall outlet, the other end connects to the battery charger, not the camera. Take the battery out of the camera, put it into the charger, and plug in the charger. See the illustration on page 10 of the manual.

All that eans is that when you are charging the batteries you are unable to drive the chair. Its a safety feature to ensure that you won't accidently make the chair move with the charger plugged in. Just plug the charger into the charger port turn off the chair and then plug the charger into the wall charge overnight and in the morning unplug the charger from the wall and then from the joystick. Always have the charger off when plugging ang unplugging from the chair. With the M41 charger get a power strip with an on/off switch plug the charger into the strip and use the on/off switch to turn the charger on and off before you plug it into the chair Hope this helps you

When I plug in my Jet 3 Ultra 4500, it seems to charge - the charging lights come on - but it never charges. In fact, I can't get it to move at all, even when plugged in. I think I am using the...

when you plug in the charger do you get any amp reading on the meter located at the rear of the chair near where the charger cord plugs into the chair. When you plug in the cord the meter should deflect and read 6 amps or so. If you aren't getting any deflection of the amp meter then either the batteries are dead or the charger is bad. If you have a voltmeter you can set it to 200 volts dc and plug the leads into the charger port located under the front of the joystick Plug the leads into the 2 outter holes of the port with the charger plugged into the wall you should be reading 27-30 volts. Unplug the charger and you will be reading the battery voltage and fully charged they should read 25-27+ volts. If you aren't reading 25-27 volts without the charger plugged in you will need new batteries( anything less than 10 volts will not let the chair turn on) if you aren't getting 27-30 volts with the charger plugged in then the charger is bad and you can get or borrow an off-board charger and charge the chair thru the joystick port Hope this helps

I need to know how to charge the batterie om my sisters merits wheelchair,i do not know how to plug it up,,or if the charger is located on the frame someplace or if its freestanding.plain and simple i do...

sking the off board charger is a 5 inch by 3 inch rectangular box with a power plug on one end and a round silver 3 prong plug on the other. The charger plugs into the charger port located under the front of the joystick. Plug the charger plug into the joystick and then into the wall socket. When it is fully charged the light on the chrager will turn from yellow to green. Unplug the power from the wall socket first then unplug from the joystick In ither words always have the charger unplugged when you plug the charger up to the chair Now if the chair has an onboard charger there should be a power cord that just plugs into the chair usually somewhere in the rear of the chair all you have to do is plug it into a wall socket and charge away Hope this helps you

Batteries won't charge, bought new batteries and they won't charge either

Moore well it looks like you have a charger problem. With a digital voltmeter plug the on-board charger into the wall then take the voltmeter and plug the two leads into the two outter plug holes of the charger port under the front of the joystick set the meter to 200 volts dc. with the charger plugged in you should read 26-30 volts if you don't get that you are reading just the current battery charge 20-24 volts. If you can try to find someone locally that has an offboard charger and borrow it for a few hours. Plug the offboard charger into the charger port under the front of the joystick and let it charge the new batteries. I would try to find someone with an extra charger you could buy or contact your local provider and have them get you an off board charger to charge your chair. Hope this helps you

Hello, i have a invacare wheelchair that has 2 12v sealed batteries, wired in series at 24v. I wanted to find out the charge plug has 3 prongs, which should be -. ground, . over vice versa, how come there...

Salty The charger detects the batteries when it is plugged into the charger port. With the older chargers you could measure the output of the charger by measuring across the two outter pins. With the newer chargers there is no output until the charger is plugged into the charger port. Now on the M51 you should have an on-board charger and the cord plugs into the back of the chair into a three pronged plug. Now if you plug the on-board charger into the wall socket and look at the rear of the chair low to the ground you should be able to see a red and yellow light (red and green when fully charged). With this charger plugged in you can take a digital voltmeter set it on 200 v dc and plug the leads into the two outter holes in the charger port under the front of the joystick you should read 27-30 volts when charging and 24-27 volts fully charged and the charger unplugged. Hope this helps you

How do I charge my scooter I have lost my instructions

Look in your manual if you lost it then, go to razor.com and request one. But the simple answer is to:
1. Turn off the scooter
2. Plug charger into wall outlet.
3. Find the hole on the side that matches the charger plug(not the wall outlet plug) .
4. Plug the charger into the scooter.
5. Wait until the charger turn off ( if the charger is a smart charger), typical charging time is 4-6hours.

*If not a smart charger you can calculate the charge time by using an online battery charging time calculator.
