Question about Frigidaire FEF336BC Electric Kitchen Range
Hold the lock button for 3-5 seconds...

In our case the door was open but the lock was latched. Holding the Clear/Off button had no effect. We unplugged the unit. Then while one person held the oven door light switch button in, another person plugged the unit in. While still holding the light switch button in, the Clear/Off button was pressed for 10-15 seconds, at which point "locked" appeared in the display. Then, while still holding the light switch button in, pressing and holding the Clear/Off button unlocked the unit and everything worked!

OK the April 12 solution worked for me. I held the door button in and pressed the broil button for about 5-10 seconds. The lock moved and I was able to close the door. Thank you!!!!!!!

My oven door remained locked after the cleaning cycle- model # FES365ESA. I flipped the breaker and then turned the oven on just to 350. Then, I held the Clear/Off button until the door opened. Don't know why it worked, but it did. Hope this helps anyone else. There seems to be no mention of it in the owner's manual either.

Hold in the door button and push broil until the latch makes a 360 degree
then the door lock should stop flashing and the oven will work again

Here's what worked for us when the oven door wouldn't unlock. Hold the LOCK button down until the display shows "LOCKED" with a little padlock icon. Then select the OFF button. Yaaaay... dinner is only an hour late!
We are geniuses!

Guest answer that wrote on 4.12.08 fixed my problem. My oven door was open whern I started the clean cycle. I did as was suggested and the lock moved to the other side allowing me to be able to close the oven door.

My locking pin was slightly bent in a manner that would not let the door fully shut. I bent it so that it would line up with the door hole.

Service man said we need new electronic overlay and oven probe--$250 plus !1
Tech 17 solution confusing- where is "cancel" button?
"hold" in light switch?
Help us who are not so sharp.
Unplugging did not help.

I just did this, Hold the clear button until it beeps. When you get it open and shut it hold the clear again, close it and in a few seconds the door unlocks by itself.

To unlock the safty lock when door is stuck open.....push and hold the button just inside the oven door and, while holding that in, push and hold the clear button for 3 seconds

Door was open and lock was engaged. I held the door button in for about 5 to 10 seconds. The lock cycled, door closed, and lock light went off. Whew!

OK, here's what I did. My company leaned against the door and LOCKED it. No freaking manual thanks to the previous owner. SOOO, I held down the Clear key until the little red lock went away. Then I held down the Clear key again until the "Door Locked" display went off. YAY, success!!! Hope that helps!

SOURCE: How do I unlock the oven door?
If the lock is engaged, is the oven in a self cleaning cycle? If so, cycle power to the oven, that should cancel the self cleaning cycle.
Reply back if that worked or not and I'll try to help you further.

The question isn't that clear as to what your problem is but try unplugging the stove or turning the power off to the stove at your main fuse/breaker box and then turn it back on. You should then have the oven door unlocked
