I was listening to music when all the sudden it turned off and turned
on by itself. But when it turned on it froze on the loading screen
(where you have the zune symbol and ZUNE writen underneath and the
loading bar). And it stays on with that screen on. I tryed all button
combinations that I read on this site, but it still didn't work. I let
the battery die and when I charged it back up it still went to the same
screen. When I pluged it to my laptop, my laptop doesn't recognize it.
All it does it stays on the loading screen.

Have you tried re installing the firmware on your player. If yes then you either have an issue with the head phone jack itself or something on the main board dealing with the sound as went out. I have ran into this issue with the 30GB Zune player often. Hope this helps

Importing Content to Zune Software Zune software provides several options to import content. By default, Zune software automatically imports content that is downloaded to the following folders:
Zune software monitors these folders for the current user as well as the folders designated for All Users. When content is downloaded to any of these folders, it is automatically imported to the Zune media library. Zune users can also add a new folder to the list of folders that Zune software monitors, or they can manually drag and drop content from any folder to the Zune media library.
The 30 Gb Zunes unfortunately suffer from a bug that caused all of them to do this just before the new year. Keep checking the Zune website for them to address the issue. They will hopefully issue a fix soon.
A co-worker of mine may have found a solution. But it is risky, since you have to open your Zune. Since his Zune has already no warranty, he carefully opened it, unplugged the battery cable and waited a few seconds, plugged it again and restarted.
The device is now working! we're listening to it right now and the computer recognized it. It seems like a solution to me! (If you have no problems opening your Zune). there is this video and some others on youtube that can instruct you on opening your Zune: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBL0lPBpC3I
I turned on my Zune and the screen froze so I turned it off but it would not turn back on.
I went online and read somewhere that if the screen freezes then you should press up and back and wait for the zune insignia to come on. Well my zune was not just frozen it would not go on but I tried the up and back thing and it worked. it took about 9-13 seconds but it worked so give it a chance and if that doesn't work try charging it overnight. Hope that helps :D
