Guitar cant sync up to the system - Nintendo Rock Band for Wii

It will sync up for short period. (just long enough to convince you it is working)

Then in the middle of playing You die and you look down and it's blinking again.

If you watch it. It will stay solid for 30-60 seconds. Then blink, then solid then blink. Even if you are just inches from the dongle.

So it's like it "wants" to work.

Ensure that you are within 30 feet of the receiver and that you have fresh batteries in the guitar.

Your wii remote should be synced to the console right? Then the conrtoller fits in the drums. Thats how guitar hero drums work.

Have rockband game been trying to sync guitar but all that keeps happening is the blue lights on guitar and dongle keep flashing. Please help

Are you pressing the sync buttons on the component and then pressing the sync button on the console? It is under the large door on the front of the console.First press the guitar sync, then it should give you a couple of seconds to press the console sync.If the light goes to constant blue,it is synched.Do the same for the other component.Good luck and rock on!

We got beatles rock band and we played it and everything worked fine. We turned it on to play again and we cannot get the guitar to sync. What can we do?

Did you have to sync it from the very start?I am not familiar with the guitar games. If the guitar needs batteries, open the battery cover. Also open the large cover on the front of the console. There should be a sync button under the guitar battery cover.Press that and the red sync button at the top of the open panel on the console. It may take a couple tries to sync up but it should. Good luck and ROCK ON!

I have guitar hero rock band set and bought rock band. The guitar an drums are set up on wireless how do you sync them to work with this game?

look on the instruments for a red button. press this button at the same time you press the red button on the front of your wii console. this should sync the system to the controllers. (the guitar should already be synced since you plug the wii remote into it, but do it anyway)

Lights flashing on guitar and usb

If you are using the Fender Stratocaster Rock Band Guitar:

1) Ensure you have fresh batteries in the Wireless Guitar
2) Insert receiver into USB hub
3) Turn on Guitar via switch on back.
4) If both the guitar and the USB receiver is flashing blue, then press the guitar logo button until flashing blue light on the receiver stops flashing.

Note that on Rock Band 1, non-Rock Band guitars (ie: Guitar Hero and Wiimote based guitars) generally don't work.

Good luck!

Rock band guitar will not sync to wii

For me it was the white box that connects to the back of the wii. I tried everything from changing batteries in the guitar, to pressing white button on guitar, to restarting while holding white button down to screaming at the wii. Then I bought a new rockband guitar at best buy and the new guitar did not work until I swapped the white box (dongle?) that connects to the back of the Wii. One is for the drums and the other is for the guitars and mic. Hope this helps.

try syncing up one remote so it logs in as player #1 and then press the button to sync the guitar and it should sync up as player #2
