Question about Photography
I guess I asked the wrong question about my tripod.
What I really need is the head of the tripod that moves the camera up and down and is attached to the part of the tripod that rotates side to side. I suppose it could be described as the head of the tripod.

If it is a standard professional tripod - they are sold without the head mechanism so you can pick the type and style that best suits your needs, such as for sports, portrait, or commercial photography. Most camera shops can show you samples of the different types. You can go online to get an idea of the range in price (be aware that they are as much as a standard tripod that has a built-in head).
