ERR 4 in a Kitchenaid coffee maker indicates a button is stuck in place. Please be sure to check all of your buttons and see if any are stuck depressed into the machine.

If this is not the case, I would suggest contacting Kitchenaid Customer Service to see what other options may be available.

Their toll-free telephone number is 1-800-541-6390.

Esp-6tm controller shows err3 and err4 but one and five zones work. turned valaes on manually and the water comes out of heads. bad control box ?

When you say turned on valves manually, do you mean by operating the bleeders on the individual valves? If so, that has nothing to do with the electrical operation of the valves.
The fact that you are getting err3 & err4 leads me to believe that the wiring that electrically operate these valves are shorted.
Move the wires for valves 3 & 4 to terminals 1 & 2 on the timer and see what happens.
If err1 and err2 come up, the problem is in the wiring to the valves #3 & #4.

Err4 message

On a Kitchenaid coffee maker, ERR 4 indicates a stuck button. Please double check to make sure none of your buttons are sticking in place and "freezing" the coffee maker. If you can not find any obvious problems, I would recommend calling Kitchenaid Customer Service to see what options may be available to you.

I have an err4 on my kitchenaid coffee pot. I have unplugged it several times and pushed each button each time but it keeps popping up with the error. It turns on every time I plug it back in before the...

Had the same problem after cleaning. ERR4 is the result of moisture in the electronics. FIRST UNPLUG COFFEE MAKER. Get a long philips screwdriver and remove the 4 screws at the bottom of the coffee maker. Pull the bottom off and carefully unclip the front panel. The circuit card is simply clipped in so it removes nicely by unclipping with your fingers. Now take a hair dryer and dry out the circuit card. Carefully plug the maker back in and verify that the LED nolonger reads ERR4. Reassemble and your back in business!

Problem with whirlpool dishwasher ADP6000IX stuck on drain mode has err4 on it which means water inlet problem has sencer that changers to pump mode now is stuck on pump

Hi I had the same problem with a whirlpool adp6000ix. Although it looked fine from the inside, the base was full of water. I managed to fix the problem by pulling the dishwasher out and then tilting it gently to the side. All of the hidden water in the base poured out which cleared err4. It is now working fine. Tip: Make sure you have a couple of towels spread around before you tilt it. Good luck!
