Question about Conair WW60 Weightwatchers Scale

Can I reset the scale?

I purchased a WW60 scale a few years ago (no longer available for sale to my knowledge). It has 2 individual user buttons to monitor start weight, weight loss since last weigh-in, weight to goal and total weight loss. My son used my setting himself, and now the weight-to-goal and total weight loss are measured from his weight, not mine. Does anyone know if this can be reset to just start over?

I got it! Press "set". You should see "start goal" in the bottom right. Press the user # you want to save as and press "set" again. The display will blink then display "0.0". Step on the scale to get your current weight. Once it's read you current weight, press "set". A goal weight will display. Press "User 1" to make your goal weight go up and "User 2" to make it go down. Press "set" when the display shows your goal weight. That's it. Now all you have to do is press your user # and wait for "0.0" to display before stepping on the scale.

In the event that the scale battery needs to be replaced, (display shows "Lo"),
open the battery cover on the bottom of the scale and replace the old battery with
a new 3V lithium battery.

I have a Health O Meter HDM560. I need to reset the #1 and #2 users and start over, can you help me there is nothing in the manual about it I can find.

Current Instruction Manual for the HDM560 can be found here:

http://www.healthometer.com/Manuals/MANUALS/HDM560-05_43_41816518.PDF

For resetting it would be similar to the initial setting process. FOLLOW these steps:

Lift display cover. Push "SET" button at bottom of pad. User "1" and "2" will appear.
User "1" will start blinking. Press the "USER" button to choose user "1" or "2". Once selected, press "SET" button to lock in information.
Both "HEIGHT" and "AGE" will appear on the screen. The "HEIGHT" will start blinking. Press the "UP" or "DOWN" arrows to find the correct height.

After entering height, press the "AGE" button. Use the "UP" and "DOWN" arrows to enter correct age and press "SET".

Both "MALE" and "FEMALE" images will be displayed. Press the "GENDER" button until the correct MALE/FEMALE image blinks and then press "SET". This will lock in the information.
Your correct information including User, Height, Age, and Gender will be displayed. Now you are ready to calculate weight.

Tap your person "USER" number (1 or 2) in center of scale with your toe. Your personal profile will appear. Wait until "000" appears. Stand on scale so bare feet are positioned over silver pad surface. "000" will blink your weight for approximately 3 seconds. "BF" will flash and body fat percentage will appear. The scale will turn off automatically in a few seconds.

How long the lithium batteries last for Conair Model WW60X?

Lithium batteries should last about 3-5 years. That really depends on the amount of use, the way the unit is stored and even things like temperatures. If you replace the battery you need to make sure that the battery is fresh and not old stock. Thats another thing that will cause premature battery death is old stale batteries. Unfortunately the original batteries tend to fall into two types, better than you can find or a lot worse. If you are using the scale a lot ie several people using it then the batteries will also drop off pretty quick. Even in heavy commercial use the batteries should be good for well over a year.

Changed batteries and now the scale does not read correct weights. off by more than 40 lbs

You might wanna double check that your scale is set to the right measurement. On the bottom of the scale is a switch that allows you to choose between Kg (kilograms) or LB (pounds).

I have a Salter bathroom scales purchased about a year ago in Tesco. I no longer have the receipt so I no not have any come back from Tesco. When you get on the scales it will give you one weight reading...

I would contact the Company that makes the scales and inform them of their defaulty scale that you paid your hard earned money and see what they say, They may replace it if you send them the defaulty one! Good luck.
