They should be what is called a 10x32 screw. you should be able to get these from any hardware store. not at home depot or lowes, but like an ace hardware. they will know what you are talking about.
i would guess that someone lost your original screws. if not then you might be having problems because the screws got stripped out when trying to change the cord or hook up a new one. if that happend, then you will need to replace the nuts also. get them at the hardware store too.
it may not be easy but you will save alot of money if you can do this yourself.

Kenmore 700 dryer with a three prong cord is being converted to four prong. Is there a drawing of what wires by color going to the proper screw location?

There's a ground strap wire (green/yellow) attached to the dryer cabinet and connected to the center terminal where the white neutral wire of the power cord is connected. Disconnect this ground strap wire and remove the 3-prong power cord from the terminal block taking note where the wires are connecedt to. Connect the 4-prong power cord in the same way same wire colors of the 3-prong cord are connected to the terminal block. Connect the ground strap wire to the remaining fourth wire (green/yellow). Just do the reverse when converting 4-prong to 3-prong. The link below might enlighten you further on this matter.

After replacing our 3 prong cord with a 4 prong cord, it no longer works. Have we fried the control panel?

First, go back and check the power cord configuration. There is a difference between how a 3 and 4 prong power cord is connected. Copy and paste the following link to your browser:

If you connected the power cord wrong, you may have simply blown the thermal fuse. This is a small plastic looking component (usually white in color) with two wires attached to it. Its located on the air blower housing inside the dryer.
If the model number is correct, you can access the thermal fuse by following these steps:
1. Remove the lower toe panel directly below the door, by locating the screws under the bottom front edge. You can gain better access to the screws by propping up the two front feet of the dryer (a 2 x 4 works well for this).
2. With the screws removed, the panel will drop down, then come off.
The thermal fuse should be located on the air blower housing directly below the drum in the front. A resistance check should read something close to zero ohms (short) if good. If you have no continuity, the fuse is blown.
NOTE: Make sure you have the dryer UNPLUGGED and the wires disconnected from the fuse, when taking resistance checks.
If you have questions, or need further assistance, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.

How do you hook the four wire electric cable to the terminal marked L1, L2, L3? the wires are colored red, white, black and green.

To connect power cord:
• Remove the screws from the cover of the
junction box located at the top rear of the dryer.
• Loosen/remove the two screws on the strain
relief clamp and remove from 4-wire supply
cord.
• The strain relief splits into two indentical parts.
• Insert the large flange of both sections into the
hole located on the left side of the junction box
housing. The short flange of both sections and
screws must remain positioned on the external
side of the junction box housing.
• Insert the 4- wire supply cord through both
sections of the strain relief and re-install strain
relief screws, do not fully tighten until electrical
connections are complete.
• Attach the power cord ground conductor (green
wire) to the ground terminal marked with the
ground symbol. Tighten screw until ground
conductor is secure. (See Fig. 7)
• Attach the power cord neutral conductor (white
wire) to the neutral terminal. (marked N)
Tighten screw until neutral conductor is secure.
(See Fig. 7)
• Attach the power cord phase conductor (black
wire) to the phase terminal (marked L3).
Tighten screw until power conductor is secure.
(See Fig. 7)
• Attach the power cord phase conductor (red
wire) to the phase terminal (marked L1).
Tighten screw until power conductor is
secure.(See Fig. 7)
• Tighten the screws on the strain relief so that
the power cord cannot be moved.
• Re-install the cover of the junction box and
secure with four screws removed earlier.
• The dryer is now ready to be connected to the
power supply receptacle.

This is from the manual for the Danby DCD5505W. You did not give the model # so I went off of what you listed it under.

Good Luck and please rate 4 thumbs for the free answer.

Dryer won't start

Check the thermal fuse with an ohm meter, if there's no reading its bad. The thermal fuse is located just above the vent outlet, its white has 1 screw attaching it to the housing and is about 1-1/2" x 3/8". Once you remove the screw it slides to one side and will pull out. It has two wires connected to it. You will have to remove the back cover of the dryer to access it. First unplug the power cord from the receptacle.

Kenmore Elite HE3 Dryer PF on control panel,

HI, there may have been a slight power failure within the home breaker unit or the dryer may have lost power to the control for some sort of reason.

I recommend a thorough inspection of the terminal block on the back side of this unit. make sure the power cord is attached tightly and the wall outlet is secure and holding the power cord correctly. if everything looks great with the terminal block and the power cord is plugged in the outlet correctly, simply unplug this unit for 5 minutes to reset the control. after the 5 minutes are up, plug the unit in once more and the PF alert should reset.

Make sure the breaker box in your home is working properly. (the actual breaker switch for the dryer must be in the on position)

Remove the ground strap from the middle terminal block in the dryer. Attach the white wire to this terminal. Take the green wire and attach it to the frame of the dryer. Attach the red wire to the right hand terminal, and the black wire to the left side terminal.
