If you have the deck keys try pulling the deck out and check the rca's or speaker leads to ensure all is connected properly. if not then solve. if so then it leads into more trouble shooting. best thing about car audio is it is typically a process of elimination. start with power and ground and then check signal wires and connections.

I can no longer adjust my subwoofer level from my head unit. I used to be able to in my other car but since I put it in my new car I can no longer adjust it? I have the alpine cda-9886.

make sure that before the sub woofer is hooked into the stereo that the settings for the sub are blank that way there is no previous setting once you have hooked up the sub and amp.

4ohm dual VC alpine x sub is actually 3ohm DVC i blew my 2 seperate JL audio g-max 1200w amps. what should i do with these subs?(i have 2) is there any amp that can put out 1000rms+ at a 3ohm load per sub?

Well if it is not dual 4 ohm, i have never heard of a sub with dual 3 ohms. There must be something wrong with the voice coils and if that is not it, I dont know.

You are probably running the ohms too low for the amp and its drawing too much current. Consult your amp manual for proper load level capacity and you can wire it accordingly. More then likely its only 4ohm stable bridged and your running it at 2 or less depending on if your subs have single or dual voice coils. Try connecting one pos speaker terminal to the other speaker neg then run the left ofer pos on one speaker and the the left over neg directly to the amp (series) I will raise the ohms (amp makes less power) but should not cut off unless the subs ohm are still to low, if this is the case you need a sub with a higher ohm rating or an amp wiht a lower rating...

I just hooked up my alpine 9886 .I have volume on the subs but none on the other 4

You have turned off your "POWER IC" option. This truns off the internal amplifier and only attenuates the output the the RCA terminals. That's why only your sub output works.

Bridging to 12 inch kicker competition subs to my 1000 watt alpine 4 channel amp

I'm a bit confused. For Alpine amps, the "M" prefix is for monoblock (aka single channel) amps and the "F" prefix is for multichannel amps. The only M550 I find is an MRD-M550, which is a monoblock, not a 4 channel like you say.
Unfortunately, I can't give you accurate help until we know weather it's truly 1 channel or 4 channel. Then I'll be glad to help!
