Question about Logitech SST-659 LCD Remote Control
My Logitech Harmony universal remote (659) recently stopped working. First, the number buttons stopped then the volume controls were not functioning. After replacing the batteries to see if that was the problem, It now says "testing" and the activity light just keeps flashing constantly. I did try to connect it to the computer, but it never connects. As far as I know nothing was spilled on it and it looks clean inside when I took it apart. Anyone else have this problem?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

The close captioning your looking for would have more to do your television or video source then your remote control.
Depending on how you receive your broadcasting you may want to make basic adjustments to your other equipment. If you receive it through your television you should check your television setup menu for something along the lines of "caption", "CC", or "Text". As well if you receive broadcasting through a cable or satellite box their setup menus should have options for similar options.
I hope this helps.

Hi. I sure do know how to fix this! haha. Usually just taking the battery out for about a minute then putting it back in works, but if not it will get out of safe mode if you update the firmware.
1, Log in to the software.
2. Click 'Downloads' at the top
3. Click 'Firmware'
4. Update the remote
