You have turned off your "POWER IC" option. This truns off the internal amplifier and only attenuates the output the the RCA terminals. That's why only your sub output works.

I can no longer adjust my subwoofer level from my head unit. I used to be able to in my other car but since I put it in my new car I can no longer adjust it? I have the alpine cda-9886.

make sure that before the sub woofer is hooked into the stereo that the settings for the sub are blank that way there is no previous setting once you have hooked up the sub and amp.

I just hooked up a a cda 9886 in my car and know my subs dont work do you know what the problem could be

Your subwoofer is probably off. You have to put it on. I think you have to push the button all the way on the right that says imprint or sound setup and then dial the rotary to subwoofer and there is an adjustment or a level. You choose the one that is not level and select it then on or off. It is easy once you figure it out.

My CDA-9886 usb error

I just got an A-male to A-female USB extension cable to hook up to the back of my Alpine CDA-9886 headunit and connect to my 32GB USB. All of the songs are MP3 and works with my brother's headunit. But when the USB is plugged into my headunit, it says error. How can I fix this?

Have an alpine 9886 stereo and cannot connect my blue tooth ready phone...

Hello maslynab,

The Alpine CDA-9886 is Bluetooth ready but requires an adapter such as Alpine's KCE-400BT or a generic adapter in order to pair with a phone.

Hope this helps.

Sub will drain all the sound off the front speakers

if you have both amps connected to the same power wire this will happen...run another power wire to the alpine and this should solve the problem.

Alpine pdx 1.000 keeps cutting out

You are going to want to make sure all your power wires and grounds are 4 gauge as well as the wire leads to and from the capacitor-4 gauge also. make sure you have a very good ground - the power wire from the battery should hit a distribution block-from the dist. block a 4 gauge should go to the capacitor another 4 gauge to the mono amp and another to the 4 channel amp -every component should have a good solid ground even if you have to bust out a grinder and a drill and some self tapping sheet metal screws and go nuts on it- see if that helps you

I have an alpine 9886 and I dont have volume out of the 4 speakers but my subs are working.

if you have the deck keys try pulling the deck out and check the rca's or speaker leads to ensure all is connected properly. if not then solve. if so then it leads into more trouble shooting. best thing about car audio is it is typically a process of elimination. start with power and ground and then check signal wires and connections.
