Frank797,
Hi,
It depends on how wet, like submergeg or rained on? With the camera armor it should be fine. It's not gone yes there is a reset, it's a two button deal, turn on the camera and hold down the +/- button by the on off switch (they have green dots near them) and the AF button on the top for more than two seconds, normally the display panel turns off while the camera resets. IF this solves your situation rate my response. This site is free you don't have to pay for answers.

How do i clean it

If it is cloth I recommend Resolve carpet cleaner (or the generic equal). Go over it afterward with a warm wet towel and let it dry for hours. If it is leather then use a leather cleaner/conditioner as directed. If it is vinyl you can use anything from 409 to Purple Power on a wet towel, then go over it with another damp towel and let dry. Then apply a Armor all like protectant.

Samsung i5 LCD screen is showing blank.

If you expose the camara to dampness, the screen will go blank. It may work eventually after it dries out. Check to make sure the batteries are good and installed properly.

I would put the camera into a bowl of rice (sounds crazy, but it works). The rice will **** the remaining water from the camera. If you are still having problems you will probably need to replace the camera.

Leave it in a dry environment for a few days until everything dries. I'm afraid the camera is permanently damaged if the rain has salt or chemical content. Hopefully it doesn't and it's just a matter of drying out.

What do i do when my camera got wet and it wont turn on?

It all depends on if it was totally submerged or if it was slightly exposed. If it was totally submerged, there is not much to do at this point. It will need to be replaced. The entire unit will not work as designed, due to the severe water damage. Now; if it was slightly exposed to a minimal amount of liquid, simply, separate the internal component and batteries away from the cover housing and let them dry out for 5 full days. Once the dry out period has been completed, reassemble the unit and load a fresh set of batteries. It should work now.

NOTE_ The dry out method will not work if you have already tried to operate this unit shortly after the water damage occurred. Energizing a wet system board will cause a short, thus, damaging the entire unit.

Wet cell phone-blank screen

Well it depends on the type of screen you have in the phone. Some have edges that can split open and lose the fluid that projects the picture so your best bet is to just replace the phones screen, if every thing else works fine

Sidekick 3 dropped in a cup of water. Water got into screen.

Is the screen blank all the time?

If you look really hard can you see the items on the screen but they are really dark? If so the back light for the lcd may have burned out.

Take a look at the following site for instructions on disassembly.

http://www.gsfx.org/disassembly/index.htm

If you feel comfortable with it, you can easily replace your own.
A new lcd runs about 50 dollars shipped. If you buy it from ebay, they will usually come with instructions and the screwdriver you need. A T6 torx driver is the type needed.

Good job on drying it out and pulling the battery. Thats the best thing you can do when you get it wet!
