I was trying to move an address list from the computer to my hand held and suddenly it has Please Wait on the screen of the hand held and it will not turn off or do anything

- Have disconnected it and it still says Please Wait with a cylindrical object underneath which is half black and half white and then the bottom half of the screen has the alphabet on it as usual

-   hey guys,, I have a Blackberry 8300 but i am unable to access the media card to store stuff on it. It is put in properly.. also tried another card in the phone and same thing happens.. can anyone tell me what to do please..thanks

If the unit is stuck, try to manually power it off or remove the battery to power it off completely........

- You can also try to reset it and after the reset still not working you may need to flash the software of this unit....

Turn it over so that the screen faces down.
Locate the reset hole, which is just large enough for you to insert theend of an unwound paper clip, and press gently for a "soft" reset. Don't use anything sharp like a safety pin.
If the soft reset doesn't help
Hold down the Page Up buttonon the front of your PDA while pressing the reset button on the back.

The next thing is a hard reset the bad part about this is that you'lllose all the data and preferences in your PDA.

Before proceeding with the hard reset, replace the batteries in yourPDA to make sure the old ones were not bad.

Hold down the powerbutton while you reset from the back of the PDA. This should return your PDA to the way it camefrom the manufacturer.

try to hard reset

It is some time very important to Hard reset a PDA for example if you want your PDA to be factory default or or operating system corruption etc the following are the information, how to do a hard reset on every PDA as different PDA manufacturer have different methods.

To hard reset, press and hold the power button and press in on the reset button (reset hole) on the back of the unit for about 2-5 seconds. Release both buttons and you will see a confirmation screen asking you if you would like

It locked up, either hit a reset button, or remove the power to it and it should restart when you reconnect the battery, it may have been running down and the process just locked it up
