Question about Acer Computers & Internet

Transposed keys just taken delivery of a new Acer Aspire One, just discovered that the key marked with @ actually prints " and the key marked with " actually prints @ when the shift key is held down in the normal way, discovered this when typing in an email address. is there some way to change them around or should it be returned or do I just put up with it.Any advise would be apreciatedThanks, Pete.

You can remap the keys but honestly if you just got it I would return it in case there are other problems you haven't noticed yet.

Acer Aspire 7745G enable fn key

If you want to use blue print Fn key, just press and hold it with any other key that also has blue print in it. Fn key is locaded bottom left of the keyboard. Second one from the left to be exact.

If you want to use Function keys F1, F2 and so on. You should not press Fn key which will change Function keys to function differently.

Are you pressing the shift key as well as the question mark this should hopefully enable you to use the question mark

How do find the question mark on an Acer Computer keyboard

The question mark can be found on the bottom left side of your keyboard on the same key as the " / " it can be used by holding shift and pressing that key.

On my acer aspire, I can`t get the question mark

I couldn't either. One post said to press the num lock and Fn keys together. It was actually the scr lock and the Fn key that worked for me. Now I can ?????? and /////// to my hearts content.

How to type a question mark on the acer aspire 5517

The ? and / key is next to the right hand shift key on the lower right corner of the keyboard.
To type the ? press the shift key and then press the ? / key.

if there you dont have find any satelite mark key then you must press the FN+ SAtelite key .then your wifi start working.

***** Satelite mark key is a wifi on / off key.

Cannot access question mark key

Have u ever know about the windows "sticky key". ur problem will occur if u press the shift key for a bit long or press it for 5 times.

what actually u guys are facing is a windows functionality.
go to control panel -> accessibility options
changes the settings for sticky keys, filter keys and toggle keys... disable it if u don't want the functionality.

Are you looking for a product key to install Windows?
If so there should be a Microsoft label on the bottom of the Acer which has the Product installation key printed on the label.

Two keyboard keys seem to have been transposed

Yes when going through the setting up procedure for your new computer you should have installed the British keyboard instead of the US one.

Doing the above will correct your problem.
