I got a new notebook running Vista OS. I loaded Outlook 2003 on this new notebook, and transferred my Outlook.pst file to the new PC. My problem is that whenever I exit Outlook, I get an error message that Outlook did not shut down correctly. Is anyone aware of a fix for this?
There is a compatibility update from Microsoft for Vista and Outlook 2003: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929427 It doesn't address specific problems there, but it tells you how to get the compatibility updates. Sounds like a good place to start.

If your mail account is configured on both systems as an IMAP account since the mail is on the server, both devices would see the same mail. That doesn't apply to your Outlook Contacts or presumably apple Contacts
Yes, and Infact pertfectly. Just try and get the one with a good license. Then Always remember this : Most Microsoft Applications are always compatible with their Operating Systems. i.e Microsoft Operating System. Hope it helps. Goodluck!
Its good idea to upgrade the RAM but not the solution, problem is probably with OS and registry. Please clean any virus, registry using cCleaner and update OS to have( try XP with SP2), Then try.
I was told there were free downloads from Nokia to solve this problem ----however
the donload would require using the Internet (on another laptop )----then burning
it on to a disk to transfer to my new latptop !
At the age of 94 with a little more money than skill or patience ---found another
