Install a fan to help cool the rack. With air flow, the ratings of many componenents are doubled. The top of the rack is the hottest as well.

A/c on my 94 geo prizm doesnt work

the first test is to ,
the 94s ware 1/2 R12 cars and 1/2 R134, the sticker near the RAD
tells you which it has.

the Compressor is the fist thing to watch.
here is the starters list. you at 3
1: blower works, in cab.
2: A/C on and lamp glows.
3: Compressor shaft turns, not just the pulley the shaft.!
belt fell off or slips bad here, fix that first.
4 engine not overheated, or overheat switch open.
5: hi/low switch tripped.
6: one of the many A/C amp (a.c error logic box) inputs has tripped.

do not attempt to bypass the AMP, or you may burn up a good compressor. and worse.
ask how to test the amp. after answering #3, can advise each step
and simple tests.

My Behringer 2500 wat pa amp keeps getting hot and cutting off

Step 1:

Overheating is typically caused by poor ventilation. The best thing is to make sure that you --

Step 2:

have plenty of space ALL-AROUND the amp

Step 3:

Fan(s) are working correctly (should always be on).

Step 4:

Boards are clean -- may require opening up housing and spraying with compressed air.

Step 5:

Be sure that the speakers you're pushing are acceptable to amp's output.

Step 6:

If still overheating, may require service.

I have a hoshizaki km 255bah compressor start then quits

Is the compressor overheating when this happens? Feel the top of the compressor when this is happening and tell me if the top of the compressor becomes extremely hot to the point that you cannot keep your hand on the compressor. Reason I ask you to do this is that it is possible that the compressor is short cycling because of a defective start relay and/or run capacitor. Let me know if the compressor is overheating of simply turning itself off. I will post a service manual if interested but would like to e-mail you the service manual for your Hoshizaki KM-255BAH because of copyright issues. You may contact me HERE if you like. Thanks Sea Breeze

I'm looking for a solution how can i connect my

You can use the compressor in two ways. 1st you can go inline from the main outputs into the compressor out of the compressor to the rest of the world using normal cables. You may also insert the compressor into the main inserts using a cable that is tip, ring, sleeve 1/4", to seperate 1/4" tip sleeve mono plugs. any more questions give us a call at the store 215-736-8055

I have EP2500 amp i want to use it to push 6 tops, what should i switch it to? one channel must push 3 tops and the other as well pushing 3 tops.

OK, you can use ep2500 amp to power 3 tops each,But the only challenge is that you are about to over load your amplifier. might get hot too fast .

You can use a cooling system to make it not too hot..It also depends on how the event your using it for...Using 3 EP2500 amplifier to drive three 6 top, using two top for each amplifier. Just a suggestion.

Using 2 amplifier, you will need to drive on one channel to drive 2 tops, and 1 top for the other channel.

That will do. But make sure you turn on the volume of the amplifier to the max volume ,so that it will be able to work properly for your tops...

The compressor suddenly trip off and it runs and after few minutes it trip off again

Compressor tipping is typically due to overheating. A single bimetal disc thermostat (e.g. Klixon brand device) in located within the motor windings within hermetically sealed compressors which will cut off motor current after the local windings have sufficiently overheated.

Unfortunately, by the time this limiter has activated, the compressor motor and pump has typically already suffered mild to major damage.

Compressor overheating is typically a result of low freon. The freon, besides cooling the compressor, also carries the lubricant, so low freon results in a hot compressor with poor lubrication, with some degree of permanent damage by the time the internal limiter has activated.

There are a few other possibilities, depending on system design, but some version of the above scenario is typical.

When the compressor runs hot, this also initiates chemical changes in the freon and oil resulting in acids with further attack both the compressor pump, motor windings and motor bearings, a viscous circle.

Compressor overheating can also be a result of contaminants circulating within the freon or evolving mechanical failure problems within the compressor pump or motor.

Better systems (very few high end residential central AC systems) include OEM or field installed high freon pressure and low freon pressure cut out switches connected to circuits which stop the compressor and keep it off when pressure are well beyond desired.
These are far more effective in protecting the compressor and preventing permanent damage.

Additional protection options are a compressor discharge temperature limit switch (shuts off the compressor if the outlet freon goes well above desirable outlet temps), and a flow switch which sense adequate condenser fan air flow and only allows the compressor to run when adequate air flow is present (a second or so after the condenser fan has started). (Since condenser air flow is what removes all the system and interior heat, the compressor should not run unless airflow is appropriate.)

While all the above 4 safety device strategies are relatively inexpensive, they are not present in the vast majority of residential AC systems sold in the US.
