Question about Acer Aspire One Netbook 8.9" Notebook
For some reason, when I type on my account on my acer netbook, I type a word and get a word that is a mixture of letters and numbers. This happened on my original one.. I returned it and thought it was a hardware problem.. got this new one..have had it one month and it began doing it again last night.. the wierd thing is that on my personal user... it is doing the number letter word thing.. but when I move over to my other user log in name.. it is not doing it at all.. \
Hey this happened to me too. Then I realized that the number lock was on which makes a combination of letters and numbers. Is it that U makes a 4. I makes 5. O makes 6. J makes 1. M makes 0. K makes 2. And L makes 3. If so hold the Fn button and then F11.

Tips for a great answer:
Press the Start key + R.
type osk in that box and hit enter
On this keyboard, try toggling numlock scrolllock and capslock a few times.
Also, try this too: Fn+Numlk or depending of the model, press the button or Fn + Shift +Numlk
hope this helps
