Microwave says refer to instructions where are they?

Google the brand of your microwave and you may find help via support, particularly if you find the model number on the machine. Sometimes you can locate a user manual if you Google the brand plus the model number and add user manual to the search.

Some brands allow a soft reset by depressing OFF/CLEAR. and keeping it depressed for about 3 seconds. Sometimes, they can be reset by pulling the power cord out of the wall and waiting 60 seconds before replugging it. You then reset the clock on some microwaves. Again, it depends on the brand and features.

What if reset button on back doesn`t fix problem, what`s next to try? no lights no power

No power at all would point to a breaker or fuse for the power. You would have to open the back to have a look and test for voltage.

Oven Control Panel "OFF" or ignitor is broken?

need model number and brand name,i've seen the power go out and when the power comes back on the power surge takes out the computer board or clock assy.but if she touched the panel she might have locked the board,on some models if you hold the clockbutton in for 5 seconds, some you hold the start button for 3 to 5 seconds or it has a lock button on it so if you send the model number i can check that for you,you can try unplugging it for like 15 minutes and see if that resets it or the power surge took out the board if it's not locked out

Hi,

Press the "Off/Clear' button to cancel anything on the display, and reset the microwave. This is a soft reset and will simply get you out of any program you have started. Press it when the cooking complete reminder appears on the display.
Perform a hard reset. Pull the plug out of the wall power supply, and wait a moment. Plug the microwave back into the wall power supply to reset any anomalies with the microwave's memory. You will need to reset the time of day if you perform a hard reset.
Reset the time of day. Press the "Clock" button, and turn the dial to set the hours. Press the dial to enter. Follow the same procedure for the minutes and a.m. or p.m. Press the "Start" button to start the clock. This should help fix the problem.

Clock frequently goes blank and needs to be reset

You have a faulty display module due to one or more components leaking. Some models have a seperate display module that can replaced without the complete board having to be replaced. If not, the board needs to be replaced. You need to ask your spares suppliers that have info. on that model.

Hotpoint RVM 225 BL 002 power reset. Internal breaker?

There should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

I would suspect the fuse or magnetron thermostat.

Not working model # jvm1339bw 002

Check the main internal fuse. Unplug it, unscrew and take off the cover, the fuse should be easily found in the back by the power cord. It looks like a regular fuse but is white instead of clear glass because microwave fuses are special. You'll have to measure it with a meter as a result and be sure to replace it with the same kind. (try finding them at radio shack) Hopefully there isn't something more serious also.
Hope ya fix it!
