I have a fridgidaire affinity and when I try to start it the door locks and it starts but then the door unlocks and it won't work. Is this the control panel? Also when it's off you can see 4 of the lights lightly flashing. How do u fix this or is it even worth fixing?

My machine just died. No codes, no nothing. I thought it had blew a fuse. But the outlet is fine. There is no power to the unit. There is a load in the machine and I can't get it out. Help

Try buttons "dry" & "spin" together for a few seconds. This is the child lock display.

Or press "end of cycle" for over 3 seconds.

Or press "options & select" till the light goes off.

If the model number is correct, press the END OF CYCLE SIGNAL button for 3 seconds. These instructions are listed on page 10 of the owner's manual. If you no longer have a manual, you can obtain a FREE copy at managemylife.com.

This is a designed safety feature that enables the comsumer to lock the control panel to prevent small children from accidentally locking a playmate inside the washer and starting it. This usually is not an indication of a washer malfunction.
