SOURCE: Replacing a fuel line for a Poulan 2175 type 2 chainsaw

Take top cover off(3 screws). Take off the 2 nuts holding the carb on. Pull carb part way out to access the hoses. Remove the 3 old hoses after making a diagram of where they connect. Buy new hoses. Cut one end of the small hose on a bevel, pierce both sides 1/8 th inch from the end with a needle. Thread a thin wire through both holes. Thread both wire ends into the gas tank. Use a hemostat or long needle nose plyers to pull the wires and then hose down into the tank. Attach the weighted fuel filter. The other end of this smaller diameter fuel line goes on the upper nipple on the carb. Take the side cover off (4 screws) to access the primer bulb. Take 2 screws out to remove the bulb which has 2 nipples. The longer nipple connects to the larger diameter hose which goes to the fuel tank. The larger diameter tube has a coupler on the end which is inside the gas tank. It took me an hour to change all 3 hoses.

SOURCE: I Need Diagram of Fuel Line Hookups For a Poulan

The line at the rear of the fuel tank with the fuel filter is the main feed line to the carburetor and connects to the upper nipple. The lower nipple on the carburetor goes to one of the primer ports, and the other primer port goes back to the tank, which has no filter on the tank end. On the primer port, it is cut and try--remove the tank return connection and leave loose. Place the main fuel line on to one of the primer ports and try to pump fuel into it with several pumps.Make sure the filter in the tank is not plugged. If nothing, shift the line to the other port of the primer and try pumping again. When successful, remove the main fuel line and return it to the upper carburetor port. Run a new line from the lower carburetor port to the active primer port and try to pump fuel again. If it won't pump fuel, reverse the two connections at the carburetor and try to pump again. If still nothing, there is trouble within the carburetor which should be cleaned with spray carburetor cleaner and maybe re-kitted. When you can finally pump fuel through the carburetor, then attach the tank return line to the open port on the primer bulb. Hope fully, the engine should run at this point. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: Routings of fuel line to Poulan 14 inch chainsaw Model 2025

No drawings or pix, but will try for description--the line from the tank that has the fuel filter is the main fuel source which goes to the upper connection on the carburetor. The lower carburetor connection goes to the intake side of the primer bulb, and the outlet side of the primer goes back into the tank, which has no filter inside the tank. The main problem is determining the correct primer port to connect back to the carburetor. When everything is connected, try priming the carburetor. If fuel fills the bulb, you have everything connected correctly. If nothing happens, try switching the two primer port connections and try to pump fuel again. If still nothing, hook the main supply line from the carburetor over to one of the primer ports and try for fuel again--if still nothing, switch the main supply line to the other primer port and pump again. If still nothing, check for a plugged fuel filter in the tank. If the filter was plugged, then go through the previous procedure again. Make sure to replace the fuel lines with original rubber lines, not plastic. Hope this helps!

How du i conect fuel lines jonsered 353

On your saw (if equipped with primer bulb) push the bulb in, one nipple is pushing air out and when you release the bulb the other nipple will pull air in.
When pushing in the bulb, the line that forces air out is your return line to the fuel tank. The nipple drawing air in is the inlet line connect this line to your fule filter.

Jonsered 2054 turbo clutch spring

The 2054 has an inboard clutch, once the e clip and washer has been removed the sprocket will come away to expose the clutch, the clutch is spun onto the crank with a left hand thread, jar it off against compression, once off there is a large backing washerto stop the spring from rolling out, push the centre spider out of the three shoes, the part no of the clutch spring is 504110016 try the web for sellers, assemble the spring into two of the shoes, and the shoes onto the spider, clamp it into the vice, fit the spring into the third shoe and expand it onto the spider.

My 2 year old Jonsered chainsaw starts and runs but has no power. I've cleaned the air filter and replaced the spark plug but still runs the same.

Try playing with the fuel mix screw, one of two that can be accessed on the outside of the saw. one should be marked "T" and the other "S" play with the "T" screw, wind it all the way in and back it off 1 turn as a starting point then half a turn out until you get a result. alternatively... unfortunately, it sounds like the piston rings have gone. go shopping.

Husqvarna 350 fuel leak looks like it leaks from a connector made into fuel tank

Fuel lines are the cause of most problems with chain saws in my opinion. They will crack when allowed to sit for a long period of time. Some sooner than others. It may very well have a small crack or split where it enters the fuel tank. There is usually two points of entry on these. One is the input to the carb and the other will be a return into the tank. I would recommend replacing all the lines at once.

If you have never done it, it can be a daunting task. Most good hardware store carry fuel lines in different sizes also. No need to go the the manufacturer.

Chainsaw chain oiler not working

There is probably a filter on the bottom of a hose within the oil tank. Go through the tank fill cap with a blunted rod. Move it slowly you should find the hose. Draw it gently toward the opening. You can probably find a new filter at a Husqvarna (parent company) dealer if you don't have a Jonsered dealer handy. Oil pump replacement is complicated. Any good chainsaw mechanic can replace it regardless of what saw they sell. Arboristsite dot com is a buch of chainsaw nuts (Eye r 1). They will give you better guidance. Please do a searh in the chainsaw forum before asking "how do I fix my saw", the answer has almost certainly been asked. Spike60 is a Jonsered dealer and is always helpful. HTH Lou

I have a echo cs305...will start, and run for 10 to 15 seconds

Check the fuel lines from the carburetor back to the inside of the fuel tank. There is a filter at the entry point of the length of the line within the tank that may need attention. Fish the line out with a small stiff wire that has a half-turn hook on one end. Check that all of the assembly screws (not the L and H adjustment screws) are tight on the carburetor and that the carburetor is tight to the engine. Does it have fresh fuel? Check the muffler for plugging.
