Question about RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100
Whenever I'm outdoors and trying to take pictures, all I see is bright white (sometimes you get a feint outline of people, if they're really close, in a kind of light blue colour). I've tried with all the various White Balance options and have also reduced the picture size/quality, but it just doesn't seem to work anymore - it used to take quite nice outdoor photos.
Indoor shots are fine, with or without flash.
what am I doing wrong?
I solved the bright pictures issue by reloading the OS.
BlackBerry OS V220.127.116.11 version has a fix for this Camera issue. Download and install the 18.104.22.168 version on you PC. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader folder rename or delete Vendor.xml file. Then, run Loader.exe and follow the screens to reload the OS. Good luck.

You checked to see if the Color option is set to negative. Either that or the camera is ddead on the phone. Sorry.
If you updated the os on this phone to 4.5 they have been seeing issues with this problem happening on pearls using 4.5.
