TROUBLE SHOOTING TIPS

NO POWER
Check the fuse F01. If the fuse is open change the fuse after confirming there is no other faulty component.
If fuse is OK the check C10 voltage is normal or not. If its not normal then change BD01.
If the voltage on C10 is normal the check the SMPS switching ICs IC01 and IC02. If found faulty change IC01 and IC02.
NO DIGITAL AUDIO OUT
Check the current digital audio stetting is its in PCM or Bitstream . IF it's in PCM then change it to Bitstream.
If ther is no diagital audio out even after it to bitstream, check the AV receiver settings. If everything is ok there too then check the AUDIO DATA at AIC Pin 4 (for BD)or AIC3pin 13 (forDVD) using CRO. If there is no audio data the change the main PCB.
If the AUDIO DATA id ok then check DIGITAL AUDIO DATA at pin7 of AIC3 if there is no audio data then change AIC3. If its OK, Check 5V at AIC2 pin 14. If the 5V is missing check the power supply. If 5v is ok the change the main PCB.

My m-audio fast track usb interface has been working but all of a sudden lately my computer recognizes it when I plug it in but the interface will not pick up a signal from a direct line or from a mic so I...

Hello, try going into Sound & Audio Settings through control panel. From there, click on the Audio Button. Toward the bottom on the left, UNCHECK the box that says 'USE ONLY DEFAULT DEVICES'. Then Under RECORDING section, pull down the drop menu and select M-Audio. And Click APPLY & OK to close. I would reboot and it should be working after that.. ok? Good Luck & PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO RATE MY SUGGESTION, OK? THANK YOU :)

What type of audio jack rgb/dvi in on rear of lg 50ps3

the dvi out of pc via adaptor to hdmi on tv has no audio,ok.
so LG diagram shows separate audio into Audio in RGB/DVI.
Resulting in video in on HDMI ok,but audio on RGB.Can not get both together.
Fix is revert to DVI to RGB lead with audio on RGB/DVI input.
The audio jack would only work with mono plug for audio in, to RGB.

How are you testing the audio out?
Are you using another radio?
If so, are you REALLY sure the other radio is ok?
If the other radio is ok, how do you know the mic is ok? have you tested it with another radio?
If the mic is ok, id have a look at the mic socket to check that all the pins are still there. Then open the radio up and check the socket is still connected to the main board.

Let me know how you get on..

Kenwood ks-122 in-dash car stereo/cd changer

hello chevi1981..what can happen is if whoever installed your system did not run your speaker wires properly eg if they have worn through and touching metal or a screw through the wires ,it can blow the audio ics in unit resulting in no sound.all these high powered units have above ground circuits in the audio stage .to check ,hook up a separate speaker direct to your unit, separate wiring ,if no sound, will most likely be the intergrated circuits..these will have to be changed by a tech as cd players are a beast to work on,also your 2 speaker wires should not touch one another.with your sec code if your have a removable face you may not have a code ,as removing face is your security .hope this helps
