Hey, Matt here, this could be a faulty connection to the charger. I suggest checking them with different blutooth device and a diff charger. Also please be careful as this is a fire hazard if it is short circuiting so don't leave it alone. If you don't have one to check with you can go in to a shop that has the device and they shoud let you check if it is the device or the charger that is faulty. Hope this helps. Matt. Please rate me

Motorola H710 Bluetooth Headset will not turn on!

I have the exact same problem with my Motorola H710 Bluetooth Headset. When I charge the headset a green light is displayed. After the charge is complete I unplug the headset and NO light is displayed. I flip open the boom and NO light is displayed. I hold the call button for 10 secs or 10 mins or 10 hours and NO light is displayed. There is suppose to be a blue light displayed to indicate that the headset is ON. Since there is NO light displaying that means the headset is OFF. So my headset DOES NOT TURN ON! I did my research no where online can anyone give a solution. All the above solutions given does not help because the blue light DOES NOT turn on. No user guide or customer service rep or tech support can help that is what I found out. So I guess I will toss my headset in the garbage!

I need to reset the pass key in my bluetooth h710

Hi Jimenez,

The Passcode for the Motorlo H710 Bluetooth headset is 0000.

It can't be resetted or changed, so while connecting if your Phone or the Recieving device asks for the Bluetooth headset pass code just provide 0000 and it should start working.

Please revert me, if you need more assistance, i would be very glad to assist you more.
If you were satisfied with the solution please rate this sollution.

Thanks For using FixYa!

Indicator flashing red while charging

This simply means your battery level is less than 50%charged. This is not indicating a problem

When I plug my Motorola H710 bluetooth in to charge the light only blinks red and when I use it it never seems to turn on?!

Here's the instructions for charging.
Plug the Motorola charger into the end of
the headset.
The indicator light turns red when the battery is charging. It may take up to 1 minute for the indicator light to turn on. When the headset's battery is fully charged (about 2hours), the indicator light turns green.

From your information, it may very well be that the battery should be replaced if the red light doesn't go off as it should.

Here's a link to the full instructions. I hope this helps.

I can't get my H710 to go into pairing mode... solid blue

First, if you've already paired it with another phone, make sure that phone is turned off. Close the headset and wait a few seconds, then reopen it by flipping out the boom (mouthpiece).

If that doesn't work, try this adapted method from the H700 model: Press the multi-function (center) button and hold it in until the light turns blue. As soon as you see the blue light, immediately open the boom (mouthpiece). Hopefully it will remain solid blue, indicating you're in pairing mode.

Problem with my H710 Bluetooth

Possible solution:

I was having the same problem so I charged and discharged it three times. Also the first time I tried to pair mine I was in a room with another phone turned on and it was like the headset was looking for the other one at the same time.
