After installing new black and color carts, my printer did the test sheet.
I then wanted to print a photo and the red light came on and now even after re-installing and cleaning the carts and the light will not go off.What next step do you recommend short of buying another printer.
That is a carriage stall error.
It is typically caused by a dirty or disconnected encoder strip.
It can also be caused by the service station.
Power on your 5150 with the cover open and describe what it does, listen to it too.
