Right on the desktop and choose Properties. Find the Power opiions in there and turn them off completely. It should be under the Screensaver tab.

Hope this helps

My dell monitor is on power saving mode I am using the monitor with cameras so do not have a pc I cant turn the saving power mode off

Without a PC you have no control over the power saving mode. You can't turn it off without one, that comes right from Dell.

replug your cables and wirings inside your CPU, if your using a Video card and it goes power saving mode, use the on-board video card if you have, if you dont have try using another video card to isolate the problem.

LG W2261 + Windows Vista + Power saving mode

When you have access to windows, go to control panel and select Power options and change to time windows puts the monitor to sleep. You can set it so the monitor from a couple of minutes to never goes to sleep. This might help your problem.
