Have an JVC model no. GR-D370U. When I try and clean the head it stops after inserting the cassette and says its in safe mode. It never finishes cleaning so I continue to get the message that it needs cleaning. How can I fix this?

I think youre talking about safeguard mode.

See page 51. There should be an error indication number as well.

Sorry, but it's not possible to record directly to a PC. Windows movie maker will only record from a tape. Please use a quality cable like Belkin, I have had issues with the cheaper firewire cords.

After you install the drivers you would be able to download and view them on your PC.

thats a hardware problem .u must to open that camera and remove mechanisum u can c there is a small board behind that mechanisum .remove that board and c there is rubeer which connec to caption motor . that u put right condition than it will work
