If your Nokia N73 says Invalid Sim means it may locked to some network.You need to unlock it.You can get the unlock code from the site Classicunlocking.com and Unlock Nokia N73 then use with any GSM Network Sim card...You can use any GSM Network Sim card after Unlock it.You cannot unlock CDMA Network locked Phones,Only GSM Network Locked Phones can be unlocked.
I think your keypad is screwed up!! If you changed teh original keypad please put the original back. And keypad issues are not solved by software or tricks you need to contact service person to fix it!!
Press upper left button (just above green button) and than * to lock.
Repeat to unlock.
There is also downloadable software that allows automatick key lock after user-set time but I do not know where to find it.
and the problem is that the nokia company made N73 without keyguard!!
i have found a solution.. you can download some freeware to install on the phone and this works well in providing the automatic timed keypad lock function. Suggest you all consider installing such software, if you want to avoid huge bills. Others are experiencing the same according to web searches ive done.
