Hey gdasnail, Matt here, this could be a faulty laptop and I suggest conntacting the suppliers to replace it. As a matter of interest, is there a little button above the touch pad? press this should make it work also. it is a touch pad lock and should also be mentioned in the instructions. Good luck, Matt

The screen on my Samsung N150 Plus is frozen. I have tried taking the battery out and switching it back on but it takes me back to the same frozen screen. The cursor moves freely but will not open...

It gets frozen on Windows? In any case I would suggest to test Hard Drive first because it sounds like a Bad Sector in it. Then RAM. If both are OK, then I suggest to re-install Operating System. If it's in warranty - bring it back to seller or contact repair center provided. Good luck

Frozen cursor hp mini

I believe these models have a "cursor off" button for when you hook up external mice. It should be either above the keyboard or in front of the palm rest by the power switch.
Let me know if this was the case.

Touchpad is locked

Hold the power button down for a second or two to let the Netbook shut down, then restart. If you had a few windows open it may be frozen and need time to process info. Please give ample amount of time for it to log off. the more you fuss around with it the more it will stay frozen. If all fails hold the power button down until it powers off. I hope it's not your hard drive.
