Question about Dell Latitude D600 Notebook
TITLE: DELL D6OO, BOOT FAILURE - HARD DISK
during a disk check aborted half way through repairing the files that it had already removed, (into quarantine - i think). i was left with my D6oo unable to boot as it said "no primary hard disk was detected." please can anyone help hopefully with a quick-fix solution??
If you press F12 during bootup, you should get the boot menu. Run the hard disk diagnostic. If the hard disk is bad, you will get a DST Short Test Error code.
Replacing the hard disk in a D600 is a piece of cake though so if you need a new HD, it's easy to do. The tedious work will come afterward.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
