Question about Honeywell Programmable Thermostat Heater

Changed timeclock and system no longer works correctly!

I stupidly changed a Danfoss 4033 timeclock to a Grasslin Q2 , before getting any connection details for the original Danfoss. I have tried to find schematic drawings to suit the various valves and switches but so far I,ve failed . I,ve got two motorised valves one in the HW and one in the CH pipework both spring return and both only two wire i.e Live and Neutral . A cylinder stat with N/O and N/C contacts and a Room stat with N/O and N/C contacts along with the previously mentioned time clock with HW on HW off HTGon HTG off connections . It,s all got a bit frustrating . I know the boiler requires a switched supply as well as a permanant live and the frost stat is connected across these two cables .But I.m stuggling to get it to work without the Aux switches usually within the motorised valves. Can any one help ?

SOURCE: Have a ct87k. Got power at wall. Plug t-stat nothing.switches are both off for gas.

Those normally do not fail, they have a mercury switch in them. However there is a cravat they have to be mounted level and up side up. If that is the way it is mounted then just replace it.

Ac not running, set at 75 is 80in here changed the batteries already

Sandra, the problem is more than likely NOT in the thermostat at all but within the power or control circuit of your system. Once the system is set correctly in the desired mode, ensure that the system is in fact running. If it IS running, it may not be running correctly and requires service from a competent service technician. If it is five degrees warmer than setpoint and you are in a/c mode and it appears to be running, the compressor may not be running even though the outside fan motor is. Or it could be low on refrigerant or out of refrigerant, producing no cooling at all.

Press the or buttons to select the preferred setting (0=user program,
1=factory program) and the display will flash, indicating a change has been
made. To confirm this change press the green button.

Thermostat is working, but display is blank

My thermostat used to go blank when heating. It was caused by the overheat protector inside the heater. That switch cuts the power to the heater and the thermostat. The heater could also be burned out. If it's a 24Volt system, the power supply could be bad.

Honeywell thermostat

The wiring is correct but you have a programmable thermostat that needs to have a program to operate. The manual for this particular stat is straight forward and uncomplicated. Enter the times and functions with the right button and up/down arrows then press "DONE" (Left Button) to get it started. Hope this helped. Roger

No hot water honeywell st6400c

HW valve was stuck in the open posiion and the micro-switch was not working so thats why boiler and pump were not starting. Bled system to below the level of the valve to be changed, and replaced valve with a drayton ( easy quick change of valve head if needed no screws )
