Question about Britax Bodyguard - Fiesta

Why is britax not offering the "bodyguard booster" on its website

I have been looking for a new cover for this britax cover and can't find any information about this. I am wondering why? Has it been recalled? Is it too old or not safe to use anymore?

thanks concerned parent.

They retired the Bodyguard carseat back in 2005 so do not offer covers for this carseat. I was looking for a replacement carseat cover myself. If you know a good seamstress you may want to get one made The carseat, otherwise, is still great. I have a Parkway also that I'd like to get a replacement cover for and they retired that carseat in January of last year. It's too bad they don't carry the covers longer. Hope this helps you!

I am unable to remove the back to convert this car seat to a booster.

Remove the back and bottom covers (the back cover has four clips; the bottom cover stretches over the front of the base and has two elastic bands that stretch back on top of the base). While holding the base on the floor, push the backrest all the way back until flat (this will take some force). Slide the axel off to the right (your right as you are facing the front of the seat).

How do you make the britax monarch a backless booster?

While holding onto the base, push the backrest all the way backward. This will take some force. Once the backrest is flat, you can slide the axel off. Note that it only slides off one way - toward the open end.

Britax booster seat

You can call Britax customer service and they may send one out to you. Since the car seat is expired though, they may give you some hassle.
