If you want to get more sound from your laptop you need to buy external speakers. To get the best result when you are shopping for speakers look for some that take an external power source (AC adaptor that plugs into the wall)

Audio jack output not working when using plug in external speakers for my NEC Versa P8310 laptop how do i resolve this what realtek driver supports this system

The Windows control panel is where you should look, under sound. You can then select the output. If you are plugged into the audio output jack it will not recognise any particular speakers, so does not need a driver.

Hi. I have used a used speaker recently, after using the speaker, I can not use the headset and the speaker are not working anymore, there is no option in control panel (sound) to active the laptop speaker...

I assume you have windows 7

1. Right click on the speaker icon in taskbar and select volume control options.
2. put a check mark on "All devices currently playing sound".
3. Make sure you have "The default communication device unchecked".
4. place a check mark on speakers/headphones

Help guyz, i have my nec versapro va12j laptop reformatted lately but after doing it there no sound any more coming out from the speaker even using a headset. i had already checked on device manager...

OK you may indeed have the driver installed, but do you have your sound manager installed? Often you need a sound manager too. Again you need to install the whole package, and NOT just the driver itself. Usually just the driver gets installed if it is detected and windows just installs the driver only, and not the management software. You will need to obtain this installer to do this.

Laptop will not operate or charge the battery from the power pack. It runs fine on battery.???? It is an NEC Versa M400

1. Power OFF laptop
2. Remove battery
3. Use power pack and turn ON laptop (without battery)
4. The laptop will work.
5. After Windows has settled down, insert battery (with laptop on and Windows running).
6. Allow the power pack to catch up a couple of hours.
7. It will work now...

Sound problem

try installing driver updating software like unibule driver scanner it solved my all issues regarding unknown drivers or else u can install windows 7 as it has also installed most of my drivers itself without making me use the drivers setup.

Go into control panel, go to device manager open the window look for your sound card and delete it, click back to top at computer click refresh and reinstall the software to your sound card. ck all settings, your speaker volume, and so on, try head phones to see if you get anything.

If you cannot see the speaker icon in the taskbar, click on Start > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices and tick place icon in the taskbar. That's if a driver has been installed for your sound device which is a creative sounblaster I think.
