Question about LG RZ-37LZ30 37 in. LCD Television
Somehow my LG 37LC2R does not accept PS3 over HDMI. It works fine via component, but when I try to connect over HDMI, I see a blank screen for some time and then "No Signal" is displayed. I would like to mention here that I have tested PS3 HDMI output over other displays and it works fine, and also LC2R works fine with other devices over HDMI. The problem is only limited to PS3.
Can anyone offer me any help on this?
you didn't mention what software version your ps3 is. in this digital age it's important to keep software levels up to date, with some exceptions. i'm including the web address for sony so you can update the ps3, but i don't think it's the problem. once you're are on their site you click on the ps3 picture & that link will take you to the software update pg. there you can review previous software updates. i quickly reviewed 1 of those & didn't see anything that addresses your problem.
have you verified that the HDMI inputs are are enabled correctly? thereare 4 inputs. refer to pgs 25 & 26 of the owner's manual.
I would put the heat on your LG retailer. clearly the new main board is suspect. you had the functions prior to the swap. the board is probably defective, but with a different problem than what you had previously. i visited LG's site. they currently have nothing in their knowledge base that mentions the your problem, nor is there a software update.
if you need additional help. write back. good luck.

if this is the first time you've hooked it up via HDMI then you have to go back to the old cables first. Hook those up to the old TV or the new one, then go to settings and switch to HDMI. It will give you 30 seconds to change the plugs again so you can view the HDMI. Then select ok. Hope this helps

Hello, same thing happened to my 10 day old 60ps60 and we called LG and they came out and put "pin tighteners" on the Y board. All they are are these little white plastic clips that the technician put on the connectors. It is nothing you can fix. Call LG
