You have no signal going to the monitor because your system is not passing the POST (power on self test). This particular board only supports DDR2 533, 667 won't work according to http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=2471

According to the link above, the board does not support an E2200 processor either. E2220 and 2180 are listed, but no 2200.

Computer does not see all ram. I have 2 of the same 512mb ram sticks it only sees one 512. If I only put in on at a time each one works but not both together. It does not show up in post or windows xp sp2...

u do need to remember that when you use 2 ram "sticks": 1. they CANNOT BE putted in slots directly next to each other. leave slot between them free. 2.they need to be exact same frequency and type [ddr1 or 2 or 3] and they both must have or not error connection on as if bios program upgrade utility is damaged do not try to upgrade bios as u may damage your motherboard beafore u try with 1gb stick refer to otherboard manual for ddr type and momory frequency

Graphics cards will not update. Tested in another

Maybe your card slot on the mobo has frazzled or at least a component/s supplying it. I've had this happen years ago, normally caused by careless handling - always wear an antistatic wrist strap and/or use antistatic mat when working on a motherboard.
Alternatively ensure the contacts are clean and not bent in the slot.
I've also come across dry solder spots on graphic card slots in the past especially on some AGP ones as in the erly days it was quite a forceful job putting one of these cards in. Evenly applied pressure yields the safest installation.

Can you mix 1gb and 2gb dimms in the same machine (for a total of 6gb)? I added two 2gb 1066 DDR2 dimms (''OCZ'') to a PC that already had two 1066 DDR2 1gb dimms (''Kingston''). I moved the 1gb dimms to...

Your MB is AM3 with 128MB DDR3-1333 built-in, four 1.8 Volt DDR2-1200+ depending on cpu. Have you enabled cpu 64 bit extensions? Tried slowing down your memory bus?
My ASUS use dual channel for dual core cpu. I have 2 yellow and 2 black dimm sockets. Both dimms in yellow is single channel, one in yellow and one in black is dual channel. Might try 2,1,2,1 rather than 2,2,1,1 order. If only your 2 1GB dimms are seen then why do you get 4 GB from 1GB+1GB? Sounds like sockets 1,2 are giving you 4GB and 3,4 don't work? Are the 1GB+1GB in 3,4 visible if the dimms in 1,2 are removed? Per Gigabyte page your AMD Phenom II 920 is AM2+ : "Note: Due to AMD AM2+ CPU limitation, memory module DDR2 1066 or above speed is only supported by 1 dimm per channel." Per AMD (which does not show your cpu, AM3 cpu fit AM3 or AM2+ socket and support ddr2 and ddr3, AM2+ cpu only work in AM2+ socket and support ddr2 only.

No video on new Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3 motherboard

There are a couple things that you need to look at. The first is your power supply. I've had computers seeming to run fine with no video. Turned out to be bad power supplies.
Does your video card require a power connection? Many high-end video cards need an external power connection. If the card has a power connection, use it.
Have you gone in and checked the cmos settings? What does it say (if anything) for the default video?
Now remove all connections to drives (hard drive and CD and try for video. Try it.
Next, if possible, swap out memory.
After you've tried everything (including maybe burning incense), time to try a new motherboard.

Please try to check your VGA card placement to its slot, then check its cable connections, if still the same problem, try to connect your monitor to another PC & if it operates, then your VGA card is defective. regards
