Question about Compaq Presario M2000 Notebook
I want to replace Broadcom wireless in Presario M2000 laptop (Turion64) with Intel 2200 BG but the machine gives me 104 error on boot (unsupported device) and won't boot at all if the card is physically installed (even if disabled in BIOS).
Does anyone know how to make this work or alternativelly recommend the wireless card supported by this machine, while working in Linux?
Try the driver for the PRIOR version of Windows, usually it will work. The driver for 98SE/2000/ etc. may be your fix!
