Question about Logitech LX700 9674180403 Keyboard

1 Answer

Dell wireless keyboard does not work, mouse does.

The keyboard has new batteries, but does not respond. I have tried pressing the button on the back of the keyboard but no response from the base. I press the button on the back of the mouse and the base shows a green light confirming response. It seems as if the keyboard does not send a signal anymore. I also have pressed the button on the base before and after pressing the button on the keyboard and still no response. Please help

Non responding wireless mouse and keyboard

mcdevito75 here, Sounds like the mouse itself is faulty, if the right button when depressed returns to position and you hear the familiar click, and you don"t hear that from the left button, then the mouse itself is faulty, ask Dell to send another mouse, it should be on warranttee with your new computer.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE LITTLE GREEN BUTTON ON THE BACK OF THE KEYBOARD? MODEL CEO560

Hi, the green button on the back is a hard reset button, you usually have to press this if the battery's have been replaced or if the keyboard starts playing up such as keys not working when pressed, its just a master reset button to restore the keyboard to new, so its nothing major its just a safety feature in case your keyboard stops responding it just resets the communication between the keyboard and the receiver on the computer.

Wireless keyboard won't work

Check the cabling from transmitter unit to the back of your pc, unplug and plug the cable back in, perhaps to another USB port. When you do the connect button I have always down the transmitter first and then the device, like they keyboard or mouse. Make sure the batteries you used work. If you have another computer you could try it as a test.

Getting wireless keyboard working

Normal 0 Assuming that you have good batteries installed, turn the Keyboard over and locate the small reset/connect button on the back of the keyboard and press it. Then try to see if it is working. If not try pressing the button on the receiver and then on the keyboard.
Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps. Bud

Dell Wireless Keyboard stopped responding, please help.

The keyboard should have a button underneath it. Press the button on the usb controller first and then the button on the keyboard. Repeat a few times to see if it connects. If you are still having trouble try another set of batteries as some batteries are not designed for wireless products.
