Your Webcam is supplied with a driver CD which you have to install. After that it will be detected by your computer. If you don't have driver CD, you can check on Internet for driver files.

How do i make my built in web cam more clear and bright

Change the lighting behind and in front of you. A built-in camera does not offer too much in terms of clarity and resolution. If you're doing a lot of video stuff, invest in a HD external camera for the computer. Plugs in via USB and is much better. It can also capture better audio.

I just bought a web cam and it the cd that came with it will not work. Does this install by itself, because I do not see it on my computer

Assuming your camera is plugged in and you are on a Windows system go to:

START
SETTINGS
CONTROL PANEL
SCANNERS AND CAMERAS
See if your camera is listed there.

Otherwise..
RIGHT CLICK on the MY COMPUTER icon on your desktop.
LEFT CLICK on PROPERTIES.
LEFT CLICK on HARDWARE tab.
LEFT CLICK on DEVICE MANAGER
Expand IMAGING DEVICES
See if your webcam is listed there and if so double click on it to check the status.

Good luck and post back if this helps or if you are still having trouble.

Mikomi DC-7120 Webcam doesnt allow me to make a video

What this means is that your PC may bnot have a strong enough Video Card to perform a task called rendering which is a really just putting the video together in a video fromat that the PC can understand.

Some things you can try: Update your system add more RAM or visit Windows Update. Add a better graphics card this often are alos inexpensive these days and will most likely assist in your issue. In this case it is not the web cam but rather your PC that is having the issue putting the video together

Have brought mikomi dc-7120 webcam, mic doesn't work

make sure that the mic line is plugged in to the right port (i.e. pink), since most webcams have separate mic lines. then make sure the mic is not muted and is selected for capture on the volume control in windows.
