You can buy it online from DeWalt the part number is 399063-00 list price 23.74 or you might try ereplacementparts.com also. They don't show what the wire guage is or length so I can't tell you to go to an electrical supply house and get it. Good luck

Dewalt dw625e intermittent power fault

Some power tools have a thermal reset switch built in. It sounds as if the thermal overload is faulty, or the unit has overheated. Check to insure the cooling ports of the motor are not clogged with sawdust.

Anyone have any leads on obtaining a new/second hand FIELD for a Freud FT2000 as I'm having difficulty in getting hold of one?

Hello jeff---Good news and bad news.
My name is Larry Boccioletti. I am a Freud service specialist in Milton Ont.Canada. There might be a possibility that the Freud 115 volt field is available in Canada. Don't hold your breath for a used one.. Bosch power tools of Germany has purchased all the rights for freud
including parts.Needless to say they are being phased out .
If you wish I will get a quote on a new one and let you know.
My company's name is Halton Maintenance Centre.

Need DeWalt dw625 router manual

Please check your product label (the one with the serial number) and determine which type your model DW625 router is. Dewalt has two. Dewalt has the manual for the router on the product support page: http://servicenet.dewalt.com/Products/Detail?isId=true&productNumber=DW625&selectedType=3315# . Select the type in the drop down menu below the model number. Then click on the link to the manual on the right side of the page. You can either download the pdf or e-mail it as an attachment to your mail account.

I hope this helps.

Have just purchased the dewalt dw625e have no instructions can you help me to download them

You need to become a member of Dewalt's website, register the product, and download the manual. Otherwise you can get it here:

Copy and paste into a browser, and hit enter

http://safemanuals.com/user-guide-instructions-owner-manual/DEWALT/DW625E-_E

I don't know how much help you require downloading the manual, but if you click the 'download the entire manual' link on that page I gave you, you can probably figure it out. I have confidence in you.

It won't start or run all of a suddent

Take it apart and check the electrical connections and brushes. Check the power cord and be sure you are getting power to the connections at the motor switch. If yes, turn switch on. Are you getting power off the other side of the switch. If you don't see any issues with those it may be time to take to the shop.

Router will not power up

I wrote a long response to your question, which apparantly has been lost in the web somewhere.
Try to make sure the detachable power cord is properly connected, and twisted 1/4 turn clockwise to lock in place.
Make sure the toggle switch is working freely.
Make sure the collet lock or spindle lock is not engaged.
If that doesn't help, please write back and I'll try to re write a troubleshooting guide for you.
I can't believe it didn't post properly.
Anyway, good luck!

Bosch 1617 EVS router will not start.

It sounds like either the switch is going bad, or the brushes have worn out. It's hard to say, not knowing how many hours of use you have on the machine. You've already pulled the cover. Take a look at the length of the brushes and see if they're a candidate for replacement. If not, it's not much farther to go to replace the switch.
The only other likely cause I can imagine is that the power cord itself has been bent into the same shape so many times from rolling it up around the router that is has a short and makes intermittent contact. But you say you have checked this and the fault is not with the cord.
You might try spinning the motor armature part of a revolution by hand, so it comes to rest in a different spot, and trying the switch.
These switches do go bad, and that is usually the culprit. The history of the switch seems to indicate it was behaving erratically before it failed, and with new ones costing only about $5.00, I'd invest in a new one, install it yourself, and save yourself the cost of a service fee.
You can acquire parts here, among many others, if you choose to follow that course: http://www.ereplacementparts.com/bosch-1617evs-0601617739-router-parts-c-128_1119_3070.html
If you do order parts online, try to confirm you've found the correct part by including the Bosch 10 digit tool product number in your search.
I hope this helps to lead you toward a swift solution. Best wishes!
