Yes, it is time for a new motherboard. Socket A was nice in its day, but its day is long gone. You could get a decent combination package (motherboard & processor) that would triple your speed for under $100. Just add some new memory and you will be all set. Go for a name brand board, but I shy away from ECS.

Is it compatible whit this processor? If yes then why its not working? If i turn my pc on then nothing just black screen. MS9367E -...

possibly a bad/faulty lead

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your motherboard to your hard drive make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty

hope this helps

Pc is saying hard drive not found

New PC or old PC?
New motherboard or old motherboard?
New hard-drive or old hard-drive?

Check the ribbon-cable between the motherboard and the disk-drive, to make sure that both ends are seated correctly.

Turn the computer off. Unplug the AC power-cord.
Touch the hard-drive -- is it "warm" or "cold" ?
Cold means that it is not getting any power.

Remove the hard-drive. Look at the labels on it. Write-down the manufacturer, model-number, serial-number, and manufacture-date. Go to the manufacturer's web-site, and enter the serial-number, to see if the drive is still under warranty.
