Lg900g will not recognize 8g sandisk

The LG900g works with microSD cards. Your 8GB card is actually a microSDHC card. While microSDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically compatble and will not work in devices not specifically designed to work with the higher-capacity cards. You need to use microSD cards, 2GB and smaller.

How large of a SD memory card will my 8gb fuze support? Ie....memory cards for music 2gb, 4gb, 8gb etc. Is there a limit?

Your Fuze will accept any microSDHC card. microSDHC cards top out at 32GB, so the limit is 32GB.

My scandisk memory card (8GB) has had problems with my blackberry torch. Its saying "media card storage can not be accessed due to fatal errors".

try
SanDisk 8GB microSDHC Memory Card with a card reader and check whether there is problems, and also try the card with other mobiles and find whether there are problems, if there is a problem we can understand that the card is destroyed , you can replace the card with other one now.
