Nokia 7610 screen problem

Hello Buntty,
*#7370# only resets C: drive. The data stored in this drive will be lost and a company default files will be written. (but it won't work if the files are corrupted)
*#7780# only resets the settings which you changed other than factory defaults. The data in the drive will be safe.
To hard reset your Nokia 7610 please follow these steps;
- switch off your mobile (nokia 7610) - Hold down the following three buttons: Green (the call answer button), * button, and '3' button. - While holding these buttons, hold the power button for a second to switch on the phone. - Release when the phone shows the nokia hands logo or shows other signs of life like the language selection screen. - Make sure you make a backup first before doing the hard reset. All your data in phone memory will be lost.

The software in your phone is corrupt and needs to be re installed.It is possible that virus has got into your system.So scan your memory card for virusand remove battery,Keep aside for thirty minutes, replace to switch on.If fault shows up,You will need to get help from Nokia Care,to be installed.

you must save your data on the memory card

you need to format your phone but you may lose all your memory details. To format your phone hold the following keys{* button, green/call button, 3 button and the power off button}. Holding these keys will format your button.

format: press green button, asterisk, and the number 3. press this 3 button all together then press power on. don't let go if u see formatting release it. then wait until the formatting is finish after that its ready to use.

just format your format your phone using twister/ tornado or jaf box because the software of your phone was corrapted

If you encounter situation like below on your 7610,

1. Blank screen phone unable to reboot.
2. Phone only able to boot-up to "Nokia" word screen.
3. Install some program but not able to uninstall it after that.
4. Error messages such as "Child Installer" keeps popping-up.

5.Start up phone failed contact re-tailer

Do a Full phone formatting on your 7610! as steps below,

1. Make sure you have at least 3/4 charge of battery power left.
2. Backup your contacts list and personal files to MMC memory card.
3. Switch-off your 7610 phone.
4. Press and hold 3 keys;
Green dial key, * (star key) & no. 3 key and then press the power on/off to swtich on the 6600 phone.

Remember, do not let go all of the keys and hold keys until you see a formatting word screen show!

5. After a few minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your 7610 will back to original system and factory settting.

All apps installed & not of the phones' default will be lost. If you did a backup on your mmc, you can restore it back to the C drive again.

just re format your fon for highest version

Format Your Phone By following Methods:- 1) Enter *#7370# & press the send key as this will do the Software reformat if the problem still persist try method below 2) Turn off ur phone....Hold Green key, * key & 3 at the same time turn on the phone...the Total format of phone Just make sure you're hold the three keys down firmly during startup. Don't let go until you see "Formatting ..."
