Question about Sears Craftsman LiftMaster Chamberlain Garage Door Opener Wireless Keypad Model 976LM Security+
Then it came back and stuck against the bolt at the end of the track. Now I can't get it to move ,when I hit the power it hums for 3 secs. then turns off.
You seem to have more than one issue. Why did the bar flex in the first place? If you have a Craftsman or Liftmaster operator, unplug the operator and remove the cover. On the motor shaft, carefully, use a pair of pliers or vicegrips to turn the motor shaft in a direction to move the carriage away from the bolt. This may not be the only problem, the gear assembly part # 41C4220A may need to be replaced. I'm still wondering why the bar flexed in the first place?
