Question about Toshiba Satellite A215-S7422 Notebook
My toshiba a215 has a screen from a dell latitude d800 1920*. The screen works, somewhat. It displays everything, but it's all "bleached out". It can't display anything near true black. Adjusting contrast, brightness, gamma, resolution and "temperature" doesn't work. When I hook it up to an external monitor, everything is fine. The faded-ness also occurs in BIOS, so it's no OS issue. I would have just replaced it, but the weird thing is that every once in a while, the screen works perfectly.
I dont know but i would think using the screen from a different computer would not be good.
im sorry but you will have to buy a new one. there is no way to make the fade stop.
