Reset the player by inserting a paerlcip into the reset hole. If that fails, go to Philips' website and upgrade the firmware on your player to solve the freezing issue permanently.

ok if the rest button wont work try pluging it in to the computer and then starting over..... had same problem and this is the only way i caould fix it ... once you delete all the files unplug it and let it update... then go back in and reload all the stuff you want ... and dont use it in class..... learn while ur there.......

Frozen go gear sa9200/17

Use a small papaerclip, pin, or other device and insert it into the reset hole until the GoGear shuts off. You may have to download the more recent version of the software for the device at www.usasupport.philips.com even after doing the reset.

Froze

Hold the power button down and the UP volume botton at the same time to reboot it.
If that fails youll have to le t the battery die and recharge it, that will reset it.

Frozen again

There are many causes for the freezes all of which I have found so far to be operator error. Except for the firmware upgrade. Follow all manufacturers instructions for resets and reinstalls (read throughly before proceeding) and all will be well again. We have 2 sleek photos I found the users to main the problem (2-teenages). Corrupt files (pics & audio)cause freezes. Find them and delete them. Regular cleanup from the utilities menu)helps alot these units are mini-computers but they do not multitask well- cant push them.
