520w power supply fuse

I recommend replacing the power supply at the same rating, It is brand new with full warranty. Changing the supply fuse will involve replacement of semiconductors and perhaps additional parts. Power Supplies are so cheap it is the best solution.

Need a new power supply for a soyo mother board Crown model fp-

All you need to know is if your motherboard has a 24-pin or 20-pin power connector. You can just count the pins if you don't know. There connector is located on the motherboard. It looks like this: moondogwst75_3.jpg

So if it's a 24-pin, order a 24-pin power supply. If it's 20-pin, order 20-pin. Hope this helps!

Replaced a bad power supply and now won't pass POST.

Power supplies are one of the most common failures for computers but as you have found they are also very easy to replace and a nominal cost.

I probably average 4 power supplies a week on my bench and always do as you did and suggest to clients to get a higher rated supply.

See if you plugged in the 4 pin power connector on the motherboard besides the main power connection on the power supply (usually black colored and its a plastic 4 pin connector)

Try another power supply if all else fails. If new power supply does not work with this unit then its a motherboard which is blown and motherboard needs replacing.

Hope this helps

How to use ATX-250-12z SMPS with 24 pin

Chances are that 250w power supply is not going to power a motherboard with a 24 pin connector, but you can try.
You will need to purchase a 20 to 24 pin adapter cable.

Atrix 9006-C4 Black Midi Case 520W fitting for lcd display

There will be "headers" on the motherboard for some case fans. Look for 2/3 pin connections on the board marked "sysfn" or something similar. Any other fans you will have to fit to a spare Molex power connector from the power supply ... you can buy 2 or 3 way "splitter" cables to give you more power connections from one Molex for this purpose. BTW make sure you connect the cpu fan to the "cpu fn" header !!!!! That one is rather important :-P
