Open Office Writer spell check problem

I just installed Open Office version 3. In Writer, the word processor, it considers every word mis-spelled. That is, it underlines every word in red. How can I fix this?

Make sure it is the correct language: select the text, go to "format" > "character", select the "font" tab, and change the language appropriately.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Fixyu spell checker not working.

I know Firefox has a built-in spellchecker. I don't know which version of IE has that feature... if you're using IE make sure you've updated to the newest version. If that doesn't work I would just install Firefox.

Hi, i want to have the dutch spelling of word. i

If you have office on the review page you have a translator in your word processor. You need at least word. or you could go on line and check your words. Otherwise you would have to purchase word at least.

Outlook Express spell check

Outlook express does not have its own spell checker, it relies on the one installed with MS Office. Unfortunately the one that comes with Office 2007 is no longer compatible with Outlook. At present there is no solution except to install third party spell ckeck software.

Microsoft covers this here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932974

Spell check

Hi,

Open MS Word and click on the Office logo in the top left hand corner, now click on word options and now click on the "Proofing" tab on the left - Now make sure your screen looks like the one below, if it doesn't put the ticks in the relevant boxes and click ok. Then restart word and type and it will correct as you type - If it doesn't then the Dictionaries are wrong, but we can sort that out.

Cheers
