I have a1998 skidoo 500 grandtouring handles horrible all over the trail. Darts all over. Ski adjustment? Suspension?

first check that your scags are good or new , now look at alinement of skis ,they should have a little toe in when looking from front of machine, if there strighr a head that will cause drifting left and right because skis get cought in ruts from other machines and causing pulling.
,also look for worn tie rod ends, or linkage from steering
.good luck hope you have fun out there .

There is a lot of play in the front skis on our 2005 arctic cat 600 M7. So when you are crusing on a trail, feels like you are out of control and throws you all over. Any suggestions? My husband has been...

Assuming all the steering linkages and bushings are in good order you need to adjust your toe in. If you have a camber adjustment check that first. If you remove the skis and run a metal rod through the ski on on side it should pass just under the the ski mount hole on the other side (about 5 degrees). The degree angle can vary from model to model. After you set the camber on one side then set the camber on the other side. Now adjust ski angle. The front of the skis should be toed out 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch.

Clutch push rod broke !!!

Chances are the prior owner installed some aftermarket springs that are too strong. This puts extra pressure on the push rod. Just pull the left and right cover of then remove the clutch assembly. put the new rod in from the left side then re-mount the left cover. Put the clutch back on then the right cover. The parts book shows a two piece push rod assembly. I wonder if a hardware store rod was installed because the factory rods are near impossible to find. The substitute rod probably couldn't handle the pressure and heat.
If not found elsewhere, google motorcycle salvage suzuki and see if you can find a used rod set.

Garage door won't stay closed

Check the down limit:
If the light bulb(s) on your operator are on the front and/or back, the limit adjustment screw is on the left side of the operator (looking from the back of the operator and facing  the garage door).. If the lights are on the sides of the operator then the limit adjustment screw is on the left side (looking from the back of the operator and facing  the garage door)
